Clay To Give County Employee Bonuses

Clay County employees will be the recipients of a little something extra this Christmas.

Mayor Dale Reagan said that full-time employees will receive $1,000 and part-time employees will receive $500.

“Well those are something that we’ve been wanting to do for a little bit,” Reagan said. “And to me, one of our greatest assets is our workers. And anytime we have the opportunity to do that to show our appreciation, especially with the times we’ve been going through with.”

Reagan said that they are hopeful they can get the details squared away to give the bonuses out before Christmas.
