Child Calls 911 After Parent Falls Asleep In Car

A small child locked inside a car called 911 early Thursday after the father and another woman fell asleep inside the car.

Crossville Police found the vehicle parked along Executive Drive with the windows down and the smell of marijuana prominent. Multiple children were inside the car. When police finally awakened the two adults, they found a bag of marijuana brownies as well as a bag of marijuana near the center console. Police also found less than 0.5 gram of heroin.

39-year old Tracy Nicole Henry faces three drug charges. Henry was transported to the Cumberland County Jail. Police conducted field sobriety tests on the man, identified as the father of the children. He was released with the children.
