Charges Pending In Thursday Night Highway 111 Crash

A Tullahoma woman suffered injuries after her vehicle rolled several times in White County Thursday night.

An air ambulance transported 44-year-old Jennifer L. Jacobs to Skyline Medical Center. Her condition remains unknown.

The crash happened on Highway 111 North, just past the O’Connor exit.

According to a Tennessee Highway Patrol crash report, Jacobs failed to maintain her lane of travel, crossed the fog line, and rear-ended a vehicle parked on the shoulder of the roadway. Her 2017 Honda Accord rolled approximately three times before coming to a rest across both northbound lanes.

The report indicates that the parked vehicle had stopped to move a dead dog from the roadway. There’s no word on why Jacobs failed to maintain her lane of travel.

The driver of the parked vehicle and a third vehicle involved did not suffer any injuries.

THP officials said charges are pending against Jacobs at this time.
