One Injured, One Cited in DeKalb County Crash

A 53-year-old Smithville man suffered injuries in a two-car crash in DeKalb County Wednesday morning. Kenny Dyal was flown to a hospital out of town with undisclosed injuries. Traffic Lights Removed from Baxter Exit

Two traffic lights at the Baxter exit of I-40 were recently removed on Route 56. Crossville Police Investigating Tuesday Night Armed Robbery

Armed with a possible shotgun, two masked men committed an armed robbery at the Highway 127 Dollar General in Crossville Tuesday night. Crossville Police Lieutenant Brian Eckelson said the men ordered the cashier to empty the register and unsuccessfully tried breaking into a cigarette cabinet before leaving on foot. Jamestown Man Arrested After Suspicious Suitcase Found at Walmart

Cookeville Police arrested a Jamestown man Tuesday for leaving a suitcase full of stolen items at the South Jefferson Avenue Walmart Monday night.
