Crews Begin Construction of Cookeville Skate Park

Construction crews have begun the process of creating a new skate park in Cookeville. According to Cookeville’s Leisure Services Department, Park View Park and the neighboring playground will be temporarily closed during the construction process. An Investigation by the State Comptroller’s Office has revealed that a former accountant of Volunteer Energy stole nearly $1 million.
