Butler Charged with Theft of Money and Medication from Elders

Authorities have accused the owner of Senior Lifestyles with theft of medication and money from elderly residents.

According to warrants, Stephanie Butler committed a series of crimes including theft and elder abuse while she was the operator of Senior Lifestyles.

The warrants said Butler reportedly abused one elderly resident by stealing his prescribed Oxycodone.

On another account, Butler allegedly wrote two checks without the consent of a female resident. A nine-hundred dollar check paid rent for Senior Lifestyle, while the other nine-hundred dollar check went to Butler.

Butler has posted bond.
