Bus Driver Steps In To Help Family That Lost Home

When a family with six kids lost their home to a house fire in Smith County Monday, the children’s bus driver stepped in to help by requesting donations for the family.

Danny Huff said he thinks of the children on his bus as his own kids and that he can relate with what the family is going through. Some three years ago, Huff also went through a house fire.

“It would be a great blessing and I would thank anybody that can help this family,” Huff said. “The outpouring right now is a big blessing to see that. They also helped me out when my home caught on fire. Anything that you can do would be greatly needed.”

Huff has accepted a number of donations from people, which he has hand-delivered to the family while they stay in a small home in Lebanon.
