Baxter Man Arrested For Allegedly Punching Girlfriend

Cookeville Police have arrested a Baxter man after he allegedly punched his girlfriend in the head Sunday.

Officers charged 38-year-old Kasey Lee Frazier with domestic assault and simple possession of a controlled substance.

An arrest warrant indicates that Frazier approached a vehicle and punched his girlfriend in the right side of the head. The victim also told officers that Frazier struck her with a cell phone a few days prior, causing a cut to the left side of her forehead.

Officers arrested Frazier on an active domestic assault warrant Monday. He was allegedly possessing one gram of methamphetamine at this time of his arrest.

Frazier has posted bond and will appear in court April 15th.
