Cumberland Man Arrested After Reported Hatchet Attack

A Cumberland County man faces an aggravated assault charge after allegedly attacking another man with a hatchet. Jacob Edmonds was charged after an incident that occurred at about 4 a.m. Sunday. The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department arrested a homeless couple accused of stealing from homes, outbuildings, barns and a church.
