Gov. Bill Haslam’s office announced all 95 Tennessee counties saw a drop in unemployment numbers Thursday. Overton County’s unemployment dropped a full percentage point to 3.8 percent. Milling and paving on Cookeville’s Willow Avenue will begin the first week in October. TDOT spokesman Jennifer Flynn said the two-part project is on schedule.
