The White County Commission voted to pay Sheriff Oddie Shoupe’s legal fees without comment at a recent meeting. White County Executive Denny Wayne Robinson said the county would have to pay the bill. A DeKalb County man has plead guilty to two counts of aggravated assault. 35-year-old Nathan Trapp received a six-year probation sentence with 120 days to serve in the DeKalb County jail. TDOT said DeKalb County’s College Street Bridge repair will be complete on time.
