A Smith County grand jury has returned indictments charging two men with abuse of a corpse. TBI Special Agents arrested 41-year-old Donald Lee Reynolds of Antioch and 31-year-old Justin Gage Cease of Lexa, Arkansas on Monday. A Cookeville woman faces drug charges following a Wednesday traffic stop for speeding. Putnam County Sheriff’s Deputies charged Macara S. Motorcyclist Airlifted Following Wednesday Crash

A man from Rickman suffered injuries when his motorcycle rear-ended a vehicle on Buck Mountain Road in Putnam County. The Tennessee Highway Patrol said the crash happened Wednesday just before 4 p.m. Officials said a medical helicopter airlifted 49-year-old Sean Patrick Donaghy to Vanderbilt Medical Center for treatment. Pedestrian Killed In Putnam County Wednesday Night

A vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian in Putnam County Wednesday night. Officials with the Tennessee Highway Patrol identified the deceased as 28-year-old Randall Bilbrey of Bloomington Springs. Crossville Tree House Destroyed By Fire

The famous Crossville tree house burned to the ground late Tuesday night. Firemen responded to the Beehive Drive location around 10:30 p.m. Officials said the massive blaze leveled the structure within 15 minutes.
