A popular Upper Cumberland skating rink is permanently closing after operating for nearly 50 years. The Livingston Skating Rink on Monterey Highway has been sold, according to a statement on its Facebook page. Governor’s Executive Order Eases Efforts To Feed Livestock

The ice and snow lingering across Tennessee have made feeding and transporting livestock a challenge. Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam has issued an executive order to ease some restrictions for movement of livestock feed and live poultry to market. New Centennial Sculpture Reflects Tech’s Past And Inspires Future

The final piece of the Centennial is now in place. As part of Tech’s 100th birthday celebration, a sculpture was commissioned to both commemorate the past and inspire future students. Sparta PD Getting EpiPens

The Sparta Police Department is the latest law enforcement agency that will soon be equipped with EpiPens. Charges Issued In Friday Morning Crash In Cumberland County

A head-on collision on Highway 127 North in Cumberland County has resulted in charges being issued to a man from Clarkrange. Officials said the crash happened this morning when 43-year-old Daniel Fisher was driving a Dodge Avenger and attempted to pass another vehicle. Fire Destroys Unoccupied Home In Putnam County

A fire destroyed a home on Putnam County’s Kuykendall Road last night. Putnam County Fire Chief Tom Brown said crews arrived on scene and found the home fully engulfed in flames. Local Man Sentenced For Stealing From Honor Guard Account

The former commander of the Hull York Chapter of the Disabled American Veterans in Byrdstown will serve five years with the Tennessee Department of Corrections for stealing from the organization. The state awarded the Clay County Public Library with a $2,441 literacy and broadband adoption grant today.
