Gainesboro Man Arrested, Charged in Connection to Early-Morning Shooting

Special agents from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation have arrested a Gainesboro man for allegedly shooting his girlfriend Wednesday. Charles Carpenter is charged with attempted first-degree murder and remains in the Jackson County Jail under $150,000 bond. 39 Chihuahua Dogs Rescued In Cumberland Co.

A local animal welfare organization has rescued 39 Chihuahua dogs from a Lake Tansi home in Cumberland County. Officials with A Time 4 Paws said they found the animals last week suffering from fleas, skin irritation, blindness and deformities. Veterans Memorial Wall Coming To Putnam County In April

Man Indicted For Allegedly Possessing Child Pornography

A DeKalb County grand jury has indicted a man for allegedly downloading child pornography. Winston Alexander Puckett is facing a two count indictment for sexual exploitation of a minor and for aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor.
