Crossville Man Accused Of Killing Aunt

A Crossville man faces charges for allegedly killing his aunt Sunday. Authorities accuse 37-year-old Stacey Dwight Austin of killing 55-year-old Teresa Faye Austin at her home on Neverfail Road in Sparta. Law Must Change In Order For Restaurant Tax To Be Implemented

Cumberland County will have to ask the state for permission to implement a 1-percent restaurant privilege tax. Putnam County’s penny rate has increased and will help generate more than $1.2 million in additional tax revenue next fiscal year. A McMinnville man has died from injuries sustained in a two vehicle crash last Thursday. 18-year-old Braxton Moody died over the weekend at Chattanooga’s Erlanger Hospital.
