Trump Wins Putnam Primary With 81% Vote

Former President Donald Trump controlled the Putnam County vote in the Super Tuesday Primary, winning 81 percent of the Republican vote. Voter turnout across the Upper Cumberland this Super Tuesday generally light. New Ambulance On Way To Jackson After Vote

Jackson County Commissioners voted Monday night to purchase a new $225,000 ambulance for the county. Putnam Issues $8.2M In February Building Permits

A strong February produced some $8.2 million of construction permits across Putnam County. That’s up for $6.6 million from February, 2023. The dollar amount the most in the last four months. Dale Hollow Dam Road To Close For Week

Dale Hollow Dam Road will be closed to all traffic beginning Tuesday to allow for preventative maintenance and inspections. The road will be closed to vehicles, bicycles and pedestrians. Putnam County will distribute free weather radios Saturday as the community remembers the 2020 tornado.
