Free Child Seat Check In McMinnville Saturday

A free chance to get your child safety seat checked in Warren County Saturday. Rolling roadblocks will again be used Sunday morning along I-40 through Putnam County. Kindergarten Lotteries Possible For Putnam Schools

Putnam County Schools will collect lists for kindergarten lotteries at all but two schools as the early enrollment period approaches. School Board Thursday night approved the student registration plan. The lottery could occur everywhere but Jere Whitson and Prescott. Cookeville Extends Dirt-Moving Agreement

Cookeville City Council approved an amendment to an indemnity agreement Thursday night to allow for dirt to be moved in the Highlands Business Park. Tennessee Tech surpassed its goal of $40 million in research funding a full year ahead of schedule. Crossville Moves Forward With Airport Leases

Crossville City Council moved forward with two long-term agreements for the Crossville Airport during a special-called meeting Tuesday. One agreement provides a 30-year lease for Whisper Aero with a 10-year renewal to house maintenance facilities. The Upper Cumberland showed its support for former President Donald Trump in the Super Tuesday Primary.
