IWC Set To Be Sold To Illinois-Based US Food Holding

IWC will be acquired by US Food Holding Corporation based in Rosemont, Illinois by June of this year. The acquisition price not announced. According to US Food, the move will give US Food a middle Tennessee distribution center where the company lacks such a facility. US Foods operates distribution centers in Knoxville and Memphis. Putnam County Mayor Randy Porter will begin the budget process Tuesday night with the selection of this year’s Budget Committee. A five-person committee now in place to discuss possible remedies to allowing alcohol consumption on Cookeville city property. 20 LA Students, Teacher Sent To Hospital Friday; Chemicals In Drain

At least 20 Livingston Academy students and one teacher transported to local hospitals Friday after chemicals being used in drains around the school began making people sick.
