Algood Police have identified a suspect and issued a warrant for a suspect in the last week’s Algood Manor kidnapping.
Algood Police Chief Dale Armour said the suspect is wanted for kidnapping, four counts of aggravated assault, aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary. Police are currently trying to identify two other suspects involved.
“We are requesting for anybody from the public that might be able to identify them have or have any information to this particular case,” Armour said. “If they could contact the Algood Police Department and ask for Tim Terry, that would be much appreciated.”
Armour said one of the two unidentified suspects could possibly be from out of town. Armour declined to discuss the motive of the crime or to release the name of the identified subject.
The home invasion and kidnapping occurred Thursday. Witnesses told police several men forced the victim into a vehicle at gunpoint. After investigating, police found the home invasion, where the victim lived.
The suspects released released the victim soon after along Highway 111 at the 10th Street ramp with minor injuries. Police continue the investigation
