Accident Late Friday Afternoon Prompts Detours

A driver reportedly flipped their vehicle into a ditch at the intersection of Willow and Jackson in Cookeville just after 4 p.m. Friday.

Emergency vehicles rushed to the scene through streets already clogged with Friday afternoon traffic.

Scanner traffic indicates no one was pinned in the vehicle, however injuries have been reported.

Officials warned drivers to use alternate routes for a few hours while the scene was cleared.
