Sports and outdoors retailer Academy Sports will open its doors at the new Shoppes at Eagle Point Nov. 3.
Academy Sports currently has a distribution center in Cookeville at 4700 Academy Road.
The new retail location will be the only location for the sports and outdoors retailer between Nashville and Knoxville, and will be one of the major anchor stores at the Shoppes at Eagle Point.
Several other retailers are expected to open within the next few weeks at Eagle Point, including PetSmart on Monday, Ulta Beauty on Oct. 26, and Shoe Carnival, among others.
