Pearl Copeland, Age 86 Of Crossville, passed Away At The Cumberland House In Crossville On Wednesday, June 16. Funeral Arrangements Are Incomplete.
Funeral services for Mrs. Maxine Harvey, age 82 of the Taylors Crossroads Community, will be conducted 11 AM Thursday, June 17th from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston. Bro. Wayne Taylor will officiate. Burial will be in Nelson Cemetery. Mrs. Harvey passed from this life on Monday evening, June 14 from her residence. Maxine loved spending time with her family, sewing, crocheting, working crossword puzzles, and watching westerns. Maxine leaves behind her children, Renee (Ronald) Wilborn, Steve Harvey, and Alex Harvey, all of the Taylors Crossroads Community. The family will welcome friends on Wednesday evening from 5 until 8 PM.
Funeral services for Mr. Gary Eugene Hunter, age 61 of Cookeville, will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 2 PM from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with burial to follow in the Algood City Cemetery in Algood. he passed from this life on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at his residence. Mr. Gary Eugene Hunter was born in Cookeville, Putnam Co., TN on Wednesday, July 29, 1959 to Reba (Gentry) Hunter and the late Bob Hunter. Gary was a truck driver for many years. He loved his family and friends very much and he will be greatly missed. Survivors include Wife, Rosabel Hunter; Mother: Reba Hunter; 1 Sister: Pat Nash; 1 Brother: Greg Hunter. The family will welcome friends at the funeral home on Thursday, June 17th starting at 11 AM prior to the 2 PM service. Officiating will be Bro. Clarence Jerod.

Social distancing is appreciated. Gary passed away Monday, June 7, 2021 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He was born March 5, 1956 in Cookeville, TN to the late Kenneth and Clara Barnes Stockton. Gary was retired from Perdue Farms. He was a member of Nash Grove Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Marsha Spears Stockton; sons, Ben Smith and Keith Gaw; daughters, Carrie (Chris) Clinton and Christie Sullivan.
Graveside services for Robert Ossian Rohlander, 91 of Sparta, will begin at 4 PM at Oak Lawn Memorial Cemetery on Thursday, June 17 with Barry Vinson officiating. Mr. Rohlander passed away Tuesday, June 15 at his home surrounded by family and friends. Bob was an accountant by trade. He retired after 41 years from Wagner Lighting as plant manager and then worked for 15 years for UPS. He proudly served his country for 20 years in the National Guard. He enjoyed golf, tennis, bowling and beating everyone at pinp pong and corn hole. He is survived by his children, Robert (Donna) Rohlander, Evelin (Clint) Havens, Lillith Kay (Patrick) King, and Mathew (Libby) rohlander. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at Oak Lawn Funeral Home from 2 PM – 4 PM.
Funeral services for Rev. Franklin ‘Frank’ D. Davis, age 83 of Cookeville, will be held Friday, June 18th at 1:00 p.m. at Dyer Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Bro. Dow Allen and Bro. Gary Farris will officiate. Interment will follow at West Cemetery in the Burgess Falls community. Frank died Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at his residence. He was born September 6, 1937 in Putnam County, TN to the late Emmett and Jessie Jones Davis. Frank was a preacher and minister of the Gospel for nearly 50 years, serving in many local Free Will Baptist Churches. Also, he was employed at Fleetguard. Following retirement, he worked as a driver for UCARTS. He enjoyed fishing, four wheelers and tinkering with his tractor. He was a loving father, husband, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Kathleen Nabors Farley Davis; son, Frankie (Connie) Davis of White County; daughters, Debbie (Michael) Sarr of Cookeville and Donna (John) Ross of Baxter. His grandsons will serve as pallbearers. His family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
A Celebration of the life of Logan Jade Bohannon, 25 of Cookeville, will be held on Friday, June 18, 1:00 pm, at Oaklawn Funeral Home in Sparta. A private burial at Elrod Cemetery will follow the service. Miss Bohannon left this world too soon on June 13. Jade’s smile lit up any room she walked into. Those she met along the way will miss her engaging personality, ability to make people laugh, and loyalty to her friends. Her beautiful soul surpassed her striking physical beauty. Jade believed herself to be blessed by her children, the true loves of her life. Jade blessed the life of her family and friends. She leaves behind her children, John Princeton Bohannon, and Gabrielle Ja’zelle Scott. The family will greet friends at Oaklawn from Friday at 11:00 am until the time of the service.

Danny Hembree officiating. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Miss Wofford passed from this life Monday, June 14 at Alive Hospice in Nashville. June was a loving Sister, Aunt, and friend to all who knew her. She was a member of Caney Fork Baptist Church and loved taking care of the kitchen at church. She worked several years for Abel Gardens and worked as Secretary for her brother Ray after that. She loved her cat Scruffy. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Caney Fork Baptist Church in Cookeville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, June 18, from 12:00 noon until the time of service at 2:00 pm.
Memorial services for Mrs. Shelia Barnes, age 62 of Cookeville, will be held Saturday June 19, 2021 at 11 am in the Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home with Father Joe Weatherly officiating. Shelia Patterson Barnes died on the snowy morning of 1 December 2020. She was in the presence of the four closest members of her family, two daughters, a Son, and her husband…And her God. Her death, at age 62, was the irreversible result of a 26 months fatal progression. She passed away a professing Christian, a loving wife and mother. (She may have loved her grandchildren most of all). Shelia’s immediate family is her husband Sam T Barnes, Mary Jessica Workman and Jesse Patterson Barnes; her children by conquest are Molly Lisa Forsyth, Dorothy James Merritt, and Dr. Frank H. Barnes and his wife Dr. Izabela Barnes. Shelia was born in 1958 on Wednesday June 11 in Nashville. She attended Hickman County High School and went on to become the honor graduate x-ray technician At Columbia Community College. She began working at Cookeville General Hospital in 1976. She and Sam were married at the Baths on the island of Virgin Gorda on the full moon of April 1982. Jessica was born into their lives in April 1983. The next life-changing event occurred in 1986 when Shelia and Sam became members of a worldwide anonymous 12-Step recovery program. Then in August 1987 Jesse was born. Shelia’s family will receive friends Saturday from 10 am until service time at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in Campground Cemetery also in Clarkrange. Mrs. Garrett passed away Sunday June 13 at her home. Diana’s family will receive friends Friday from 5 until 8 pm at Horner Funeral Home and Saturday from 11 am until service time at church.

Mr. Bobrick passed away on Tuesday, June 15. Jamey was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandpa, uncle, neighbor, and friend. Jamey is survived by his Wife, Rhonda Bobrick; and four Children, Jason Bobrick, Britnie Bobrick, Briana and Austin Mayberry, and Jenna Bobrick.
Funeral services for Ricky E. Strong, 60 of the Center Grove community of Jackson County, will be held on Saturday, June 19 at 2 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Grover Rich Cemetery in Clay County. A Masonic service will be held on Friday at 7 P.M. at the funeral home. Mr. Strong passed away on Tuesday, June 15 at Signature Health Care in Algood. He was a retired carpenter, and a member of Tannehill Lodge #133 – Eastern Star #503. He was a 33rd Degree Mason, and served as a board member of Twin Lakes Telephone Cooperative for 14 years. Survivors include his Son, Brock Dillan (Marlanna) Strong of Tampa, FL; and two daughters, Atha Amanda (Kevin) Stinson of Hermitage, and Olivia Ann (Russell) Farley of Cookeville. Memorial donations may be made to the Shriners Children’s Hospital or the Twin Lakes Telephone Scholarship Fund by contacting the funeral home. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1 P.M. – 8 P.M., and Saturday from 10 A.M. until time of services.
