The Overton County Commission will consider the 2020-2021 budget Monday night.
A budget hearing will begin at 4:30pm before the 5pm meeting. The Commission will also approve expenditures of COVID-19 money from the Governor’s office.
The Fentress County School Board will consider its reopening plan Monday night. In addition, the board will consider a revision of its policy on bullying and intimidation. The meeting begins at 5:30pm with an executive session. The meeting will be held at South Fentress Elementary.
The Monterey Board of Aldermen will consider a grant to participate in the Safety Partners Matching Grant program when they meet Monday night. Meeting time set for 7pm at City Hall.
Tuesday, the Crossville City Council holds a work session with discussion of water loss across the city among its topics. The council will consider two contracts with T-DOT concerning the Northwest Connector. The contracts would relocate water and sewer facilities in the area. The work session begins at 5:00 at Crossville City Hall.
Several local races will be decided Thursday with Election Day across the Upper Cumberland. Putnam County polls open at 9am. The race for Monterey mayor and State house will be among the most-watched. The State House race in White and Warren County will also be decided.
