A Knoxville man suffered injuries and faces several charges following a crash on I-40 in Cumberland County.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol reports 28-year-old Nathaniel Slusher was traveling east Saturday when the accident occurred near mile marker 307.
A crash report states Slusher failed to maintain his lane, driving off the left side of the roadway and striking multiple trees before coming to a rest in the I-40 median.
THP officials said Slusher was flown to a hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Slusher faces multiple charges, including an ignition interlock device violation, not having a driver’s license, failure to exercise due care, two registration violations, and not wearing a seat belt.
