A shooting in Clay County left three people injured Monday morning.
Authorities are urging Jennings Creek residents in Jackson County to be on the lookout for a potential suspect in the shooting. The TBI is also looking in the area of Crabtree Creek Road and North Fork Road in Clay County.
According to Jackson County E-911 Dispatch, the subject is described as a 5-foot-9-inch tall white male with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a camouflage jacket and blue jeans. The 911 Dispatch states the man is likely armed and dangerous.
The shooting was reported when a school bus driver routinely stopped and realized there had been a shooting inside the home.
According to the EMA director Natalie Boone, the school bus driver called 911. Despite initial reports, the incident did not take place on the bus.
Schools in Clay and Jackson counties are currently under lock-down as the suspect remains at-large.
The TBI is en route to Clay County and is expected to provide more information later today.
