A Kentucky man faces a DUI charge after his vehicle nearly hit a TWRA officer head-on Wednesday.
Cookeville Police arrested 59-year-old Justin Daryl Embry after responding to a TWRA traffic stop on East Spring Street. Arrest warrants indicate Embry was driving on the wrong side of the road when his vehicle nearly struck the officer.
Officers arrested Embry after he failed several field sobriety tests.
He remains behind bars under $1,500 bond and makes his first court appearance May 6th.
