White County Drug Bust Yields 7 Arrests For Meth

Seven arrested in a White County drug bust Monday for the manufacturing, delivery, sell and possession of methamphetamine.

White County Sheriff Steve Page said suspects sold drugs to undercover agents in a joint operation with the Sparta Police Department.

“Meth is the biggest drug that we have in our county,” Page said. “I believe that’s probably in every county, and it is just running rampant. We just got to keep up the fight. That’s how we win.”

Page said the suspects were local to Sparta. Page said they are currently being held at the White County Justice Center.

4. William Kyle Shoupe – Mfg, Del, Sell & Poss with intent X 2 “METH”
5. Clifton Lee Tindle – Mfg, Del, Sell & Poss with intent X 2 “METH”
6. Barry Dewayne Vinson Jr. – Mfg, Del, Sell & Poss with intent X 2 “METH”
7. Lance Cody Whittenburg – Mfg, Del, Sell & Poss with intent X 2 “METH” Mfg, Del, Sell & Poss with intent X 2 “METH”

The seven arrested may just be the beginning. Page said his office has several other indictments to pick up with arrests pending.
