Mrs. Margaret Pendergrass Alcorn, age 91 of Algood, died Wednesday evening, December 26th at her residence. Arrangements are incomplete.

Funeral Services For John P. Guenther, Jr. “Big John”, Age 76, Of The Muddy Pond Community Will Be Conducted On Friday, December 28, 2018, At 10:00 AM From The Pilgrim Christian Fellowship Church, 3068 Muddy Pond Road, Monterey, Tennessee. Immediate Family Members Will Officiate With Interment To Follow In The Weeks Cemetery. Mr. Guenther Was Born On November 10, 1942, In Hague Saskatchewan, Canada, To The Late John Sr. And Marie Peters Guenther. Mr. Guenther Passed Away On Saturday, December 22, 2018, At His Home. Mr. Guenther Was A Butcher, Farmer, Saw Mill Man, And Timber Cutter. He Was The Founder Of The Muddy Pond Sorghum Mill. He Was A Witness For Christ Wherever He Went Living His Testimony As Much As He Shared With His Voice. He Is Survived By, His Wife Of 54 Years, Emma Mazelin Guenther Of The Muddy Pond Community; His Children And Spouses, Mark And Sherry Guenther Of The Muddy Pond Community, Judy And Jerry Wilson Of The Muddy Pond Community, Pete And Doreen Guenther Of The Muddy Pond Community, Ben And Jeannie Guenther Of The Muddy Pond Community, Leonard And Becky Guenther Of Liberty, KY, David Guenther Of The Muddy Pond Community, Jona And Sarah Guenther Of The Muddy Pond Community, Edwin And Ruth Guenther Of The Muddy Pond Community; 32 Grandchildren; 18 Great Grandchildren; 2 Sisters And A Brother-In-Law, (Twin) Mary Habegger Of Scottsville, KY, Martha And John Horst Of The Muddy Pond Community; 2 Brothers And Sisters-In-Law, Jacob And Jessie Guenther Of Phoenix, AZ, Menno And Jeannie Guenther Of The Muddy Pond Community; And Sister-In-Law, Nettie Guenther Of Holland, KY. In Addition To His Parents, He Was Preceded In Death By His Brother, Peter Guenther; And Brother-In-Law, Howard Habegger. In Lieu Of Flowers, The Family Request Memorial Donations May Be Given To The Christian Aide Ministries, 2412 Division Highway, Ephrata, PA 17557. The Family Will Receive Friends At Pilgrim Christian Fellowship Church On Thursday, December 27, 2018, From 2:00 PM Until 4:00 PM And From 6:00 PM Until 8:00 PM.

Celebration of Life service for Rev. Charles E. Gibbs, Jr. age 85, of Cookeville, will be held at the First Baptist Church of Cookeville on Friday, December 28th at 11:00 a.m. Rev Gibbs went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 22, 2018 in the Vanderbilt University Medical Center Intensive Care Unit. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 27th from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Operation Christmas Child in care of the First Baptist Church of Cookeville, or other participating churches.

Graveside services for Dimple Hutson Mullican, 87, of Sparta, will be at 12:00pm on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Saylors Cemetery. Fred Johnson will officiate. No formal viewing or visitation will be held at the desire of the deceased. Terry Mullican, Darrin Prater, Tim Mullican, Matthew England, Marcus England, William England, Brent Brunson and Andrew Ishee will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Chase Mullican, Denton Prater, John Darrin Prater and Mason England. Dimple was born November 17, 1931, in Putnam County, to Lemon A. Hutson and Winnie L. Grider Hutson. Dimple was a homemaker, and a seamstress who did custom drapery work for over 30 years.

Funeral services for Shelia Jones Richardson, age 52 of Walling, will be held at 1pm on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Greenwood Baptist Church with Jimmy Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Shelia passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2018, at her residence. Born Thursday, February 10, 1966 in Sparta, she was the daughter of Herchel “Doug” Jones and the late Joyce Judd Jones. Surviving family members include the following: Husband – Terry “Rooster” Richardson; Father – Herchel “Doug” Jones of Sparta; Two children – Bobbi Presley and husband Elvis of Sparta, Austin Harris of Sparta; Two grandchildren – Ariella and Jackson Harris of Sparta; Two sisters – Cheryl Bennett and husband Don of Sparta, Connie Manson and husband Bruce of Guelph, Ontario; One brother – Mark Jones and wife Grace of Sparta; Her beloved pets, Oscar and Hank, also survive, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 11am until time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Oak Lawn Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.

Memorial services for Debrah “Deb” Sheron, 68, of Cookeville, will be held at 1 P.M. on Friday, December 28, 2018, at Anderson – Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro. The family has chosen cremation. She passed away on Monday, December 24, 2018, at Bethesda Health Care Center in Cookeville. She was born April 22, 1950, in Gainesboro, to the late Ben Fowler Brown and Lona Brown. She was the owner of Sheron and Forkum Drug Co. and Country Cabin Liquors. She attended the Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Paternal Grandparents: Tom and Arizona Brown; her Maternal Grandparents: Herman and Emma Brown; 1 Brother: Ronnie Brown; and 2 Sisters: Bernice Brown and Reba Allen. Survivors include 1 Daughter: Sandi Leigh Sheron of Baxter; 1 Grandson: Colten Patrick Johns of Cookeville; and 1 Sister: Nell Anderson of Gainesboro. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. The family will receive friends on Friday from 11 A.M. until time of services.

Funeral services for Patricia “Pat” Ann Conley West, age 69, of Algood will be held Friday, December 28th, 2018 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Presley Funeral Home with Pastors Mike Adams and Harold Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 27, 2018, 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM and Friday, December 28, 2018, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Presley Funeral Home. Patricia Ann West passed away Monday, December 24, 2018 at her home in Algood. She was born Monday, August 8, 1949 in Monterey to the late William Arnold Conley and Bonnie K. Reels Conley. Ms. West received constant love and care by her devoted husband until she took her last breath on Christmas Eve.

Funeral services for Mr. John Milton “Bo” Rollins, age 85 of Sparta, will be held at 1pm on Saturday, December 29, 2018, in the chapel of Oak Lawn Funeral Home, with Tim Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in New Bon Air Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10am until time of the service at 1pm at the funeral home. Mr. Rollins passed from this life on Sunday, December 23, 2018, at Life Care Center of Sparta. Born Tuesday, January 24, 1933 in Sparta, he was the son of the late Clifton Rollins and the late Catherine Lambert Rollins. He was a Veteran of the United States Army.

Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Albert J. “Buddy” Kendziora, Jr., age 82, of White Plains will be conducted 2 p.m., Saturday, December 29, 2018 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Bro. Albert Willis will officiate. The family will welcome friends on Saturday from 12 until time of services. Burial will be in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Mr. Albert J. “Buddy” Kendziora passed from this life on Saturday evening, December 22, 2018 from the Signature Health Care in Algood. He was born October 10, 1936 in Chicago Illinois to the late Albert J. Sr, & Patricia M. Hettinger Kendziora. Buddy was the grounds keeper for the White Plains Golf Course. Buddy served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a local 150 Midwest Operating Engineers, Countryside, Illinois. Buddy enjoyed conversation and loved people. Cooking was his passion. Buddy enjoyed golfing, fishing, and ballroom dancing with his loving wife Janie.
