Obituaries For Monday, May 22

Mrs. Brenda Lee Davis Randolph, age 63 of Walling, passed away at 12:30am Sunday morning, May 21, 2023 at Manchester Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Manchester. Brenda was the last surviving child born to the late James and Alice Usrey. Brenda was born September 4, 1959 in Warren County. She was a homemaker. Her pride, joy and source of happiness was her grandchildren. In addition to her parents and siblings she is also preceded in death by her husband Dewayne “Mall Head” Randolph who died February 26, 2014. Surviving family members include her three children Benny Jay Randolph and Mavery Gore, Sheila Randolph and Jamie Seibers, Angel Joy. Grandchildren: Steven Lynn Merriman, Ruby Pearl Trousdale and Douglas Dewayne Trousdale. The family has chosen cremation, and a memorial service will be conducted at a later date.

Mrs. Reba Medley, 87 of Baxter, died Sunday evening May 21,2023 in Heritage Point Assisted Living. Arrangements are pending.

A graveside service for Mrs. Norma “Christine” Jordan Mayberry, age 97 of Cookeville, will be held Tuesday, May 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at Crest Lawn Cemetery. Bro. Clarence Deloach will officiate. Mrs. Mayberry died Friday May 19, 2023 at Signature Healthcare of Putnam County. She was born December 25, 1925 in Harlan , KY to the late David and Leona Turner Couch. She attended school in Kentucky and moved to Cookeville in 1968. She and her late husband Milton Jordan attended Willow Ave Church of Christ in Cookeville until 1993. During these years, she was employed as a seamstress with CM Clothing in Cookeville. She returned to Kentucky for several years before returning to Cookeville in 2015. Mrs. Christine was a loving and generous lady who truly walked with the Lord. She enjoyed cooking for her family and giving them lots of love and affection. She enjoyed sewing and gardening. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, of over 30 years, Milton Jordan; second husband, of 23 years, Dorn A. Mayberry; a son, Harold Edward Hatfield, Jr.; an infant granddaughter, Melanie Aliza Latimer; and by five brothers and six sisters. She is survived by daughters, Patricia Bilbrey, of Cookeville and Rachel (Sean) Latimer, of Clarksville; six grandchildren, James (Nikki) Sliger, Tom (Nancy) Sliger, Matthew (Jaclyn) Sliger, Boone (Brandi) Sliger; Amanda McWilliams and Jonathan (Stephanie) Latimer; and by eight great grandchildren. Her family will receive friends Tuesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the Dyer chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home.

Funeral Services for James Kenneth Robinson, age 78 of Sparta, will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with Thomas McCulley officiating. Burial will follow in Old Zion Cemetery. He passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Saint Thomas Highlands Hospital in Sparta. He was born January 24, 1945, in Monterey. Kenneth was the son of the late Fred and the late Lula Reeves Robinson. Kenneth served our country in the National Guard. He was a member of the White County School Board for the past 22 years. He was also the Vice-President for the Good Time Cruisers Car Club. He was also a life-long cattleman, farmer, carpenter, and a mechanic. Kenneth was a life-long resident of White County. In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his brothers, Talmadge Robinson, and Edward Robinson. Surviving family members include: Wife of 59 years- Thelma Jean Golden Robinson; Sons- James Kevin Robinson and Timothy Shane Robinson; Grandson- James Timothy Robinson; Sister- Loretta Robinson Elrod, and husband Teddy. Lighthouse Church on the Old Kentucky Road will be open all day on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, to receive food for Kenneth’s family. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 22, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Old Zion Cemetery fund.

Funeral Services for Debbie Kay Howard West, age 61, of Monterey, will be conducted on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at 1:00 PM from The Chapel of Goff Funeral Home. Rev. Richard Harris will officiate with interment to follow in the Welch Memorial Cemetery. Ms. West was born on Sunday, August 27, 1961, in Monterey, to the late Winfield and Wonedith Vaughn Howard. Ms. West passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at her home surrounded by loved ones and a host of friends. Ms. West was a homemaker. She was a member of Union Grove Freewill Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Megan West of Monterey; sisters, Faye and Tommy Ramsey of Mt. Juliet, Letha Thornton of Monterey; brothers, Roger and Diane Howard of Monterey, Danny and Tammy Howard of Mt. Juliet, Terry Howard and Jill Hill of Rickman; dear friend/ex-husband, Danny West of Monterey; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Buddy Howard, Jackie Howard, Franky Howard, Diann Howard, Darlene Lawson, and Linda Looper. The family will receive friends at Goff Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, from 11:00 AM until time of services at 1:00 PM.

Funeral Services for Irene Allen, age 91, of Cookeville, will be held on at 2:00pm on Tuesday May 23, 2023 from the chapel of Whitson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Cookeville City Cemetery. Officiating at the service will be Bro. Ronald Strong. Irene Allen was born on January 16, 1932 in Clay County, to the late Oscar Bea and Vedria Johnson Garrett. She passed away on May 20, 2023 at Signature Health Care in Algood. She was a Homemaker and of the Church of Christ Faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by; husband, Cecil Lee Allen and brother, Leon Garrett. Her family includes Daughter: Frances Davis; 1 brother: Charles Garrett; 1 sister: Geneva Garrett Ogletree; 2 Granddaughters: Rhonda Burgess and Karen Barns; 3 Great Grandchildren: Billy Burgess III and wife Tawney, Lindsey Burgess and Samantha Conner and husband Zach; 1 Great Great Grandchild: Liam Conner; A host of other relatives survive. Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday from 1:00P.M. until time of services at 2:00P.M. at the funeral home. In Lieu of Flowers, donation can be made to your favorite Charity.

Graveside Services for Patricia Ann Segari, age 63 of Sparta, will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 in the Sand Springs Cemetery in Monterey officiated by Sam Davis. She passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023, at her home in Sparta, Tennessee. She was born Friday, April 22, 1960, in Royal Oak, MI to the late David and the late Judith Ann Sparks. In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her two brothers- Donley James Sparks and David Clinton Sparks. Surviving family members include: Husband- Mike A. Segari; Daughters- Shara (Josh) Hammond of Alabama, Nichole Bailey of Alabama, Amber (Timothy) Tati of Georgia, Jasmine Lancaster of Tennessee, Vanessa (C. J.) Manning of Georgia; Grandchildren- Mekenzie Bailey, Dyelynn Lancaster, Kiah Hammond, Olivia Tati, and Kree Hammond; Sisters- Nancy Gobbell of Michigan, and Lori Sparks of North Carolina. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.

Funeral Service for Wanda Sue “Suzzy” (Slagle) Kujawski, 74, of Cookeville, will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at 1:00 pm from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Bros. Danny Lane and Michael Dishman officiating. Interment will follow in the Algood City Cemetery. She passed from this life Friday, May 19, 2023, at NHC Healthcare Sparta. Suzzy was born April 20, 1949, in Cookeville, to the late Rev. James Carson and Anna Del (Green) Slagle. Suzzy was a member of Brotherton Free Will Baptist Church. She quickly found her place in this world as a devoted worker serving others. From working in health care facilities to the deli at Walmart, she cast a giant shadow from a small frame. Using a loving heart, quick wit, and faith in Jesus, she made friends wherever she landed. Suzzy carried lifelong hobbies of bowling, international cuisine, movies, manicures, and T-Shirt & shoe collections, followed by a passion for wolves, & strawberry milkshakes, she personified happiness, fun, caring, and love. She is survived by a depth of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends. In addition to her parents, Suzzy was preceded in death by her husband, Al Kujawski, brother Jimmy, and 2 Sisters Joann Lucas and Jean Dishman. Visitation with the family will be held Tuesday, May 23, 2023, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again, Wednesday, May 24, 2023, from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.

Memorial services for Connie Ann Strong, 53 of Cookeville, will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023, at 12 Noon at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home, with Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating. The family has chosen cremation. She was born September 30, 1969, in Dayton, OH, and she passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023. She was the daughter of the late John Edward Thomason and Joyce Ann Thomason. She was a CNA, and a resident of Cookeville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Brother: John Thomason. Survivors include her Son: David Hadynski II of Nashville; Daughters: Ashley Hadynski (John) Hamlet of Cookeville, and Allison Brooke (Drew) Dycus of Knoxville; Brother: Jason Thomason of Gainesboro; Sister: Rena Scott of Hilham; and Grandchildren: Rylee, Oakley, Owen, Cole, Brielle, Duke, Duncan, and Grantley. Visitation will be Friday, May 26, 2023 from 10 A.M. until time of services. Memorial donations may be made to Suicide Prevention by contacting the funeral home.

Graveside services for Bonnie Jean Rivera, age 76 of Cookeville, will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023 beginning at 10:00 am at Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Cookeville. Inurnment will follow at the cemetery. She passed from this life Saturday, April 29, 2023, Born Sunday, May 26, 1946 in Compton, California , she was the daughter of the late Robert Lazalier and the late Jean Bartlett Sisler. Bonnie is survived by: 3 children: Renee Claborn Bennett and husband, Chip, Darrin Rich and wife, Jennifer; 2 step children, Trent and Rebekah) Jesse Rich and wife, Pam; 2 grandchildren, Ellen Rich and Taylor Claborn; 1 sister: Caroline Humphrey; 1 sister in law, Melody Lazalier; And several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service for Marion Oneil Prigmore, 91 of Cookeville, will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023, at 12:00 pm from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Andre Massengile officiating. Interment will follow in the Cookeville City Cemetery. She passed from this life on Friday, May 19, 2023, at Heart of Mary House in Nashville. Marion was born Saturday, October 31, 1931, in Buffalo Valley, and she was the daughter of the late Isaac Lamberson and the late Ladion (Stanton) Lamberson. Marion was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She attended McClellan Avenue Church of Christ for many years, was very devoted to her church family, and loved to read her bible. She worked for Cookeville Regional Medical Center for 25 years as a housekeeper. She loved to watch professional football and it didn’t matter what team was on. She enjoyed sitting on the front and back porch bird-watching. She loved to shop, especially at Goodwill. For any church event that she was going to, she had to be early and the first one there. “I Want Your Running Shoes, So I Can Run Out Of Here” “When You Do Right In The Lord, Good Things Will Happen” Marion is survived by, 4 Daughters, Angelia Darlene Myers, Petrice Brannon, Renee Onwu and her husband Charles, and Cynthia Prigmore; Step-Son, Benny Myers, and his wife, Marissa; 10 Grandchildren, 3 Step-Grandchildren; 3 Great-Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great-Grandchild; Devoted Granddaughter, Veronica Prigmore; Special Nieces, Vivian Brown, and Tammy Bumpus; Special Friend, Carol Cannon; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends. In addition to her parents, Marion was preceded in death by, Husband of 53 years, Charles Prigmore; 3 Sons, Carlos, Cetric, and Nathan Prigmore. Visitation with the family will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023, from 11:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.

Memorial services for Bobby “BOB” Joe Harlow, 86 of Cookeville, will be Friday, June 2 at 1 PM at the Dyer Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home with military honors by the Veterans Honor Guard. Pastor Tom Strong will officiate. He was born October 21, 1936 in Mount Pleasant, TN to the late Joe Norman and Gladys Marie Curtis Harlow. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Kathleen “Kay” Francis Wood Long Harlow on November 4, 2014; a daughter, Julie Lynn Harlow; son, Michael Ray Harlow; siblings, Charles R. Harlow, Norman Carl Harlow, William E. Harlow, Barry Dale Harlow, Betty Jean Nance, Dorothy Porter and Linda Gale Harlow. Bob was a US Navy veteran serving from 1955 to 1959. He retired from the City of San Miguel, California as a fireman. He was a member of Gideons International. Bob had been a member of Bear Cove Baptist Church and later at Hamptons Crossroads Baptist Church. Survivors include a brother Larry Harlow of Crestview, Florida. The family will receive friends Friday after 11 AM until service time at the funeral home.

A memorial service and tribute for Hamilton Anthony “Tony” Horsman, age 74 of Cookeville, will be held Saturday, June 3, 2023, beginning at 1:00 pm from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home. He passed away May 13th 2023 at 10:26 am, at his home in Cookeville. Born Friday, November 19, 1948 in New York City, New York, he was the son of the late Homer and Ella (Perrusi) Horsman. Tony eventually made his home at Horseman Farm in Cookeville. A decorated Vietnam veteran who served the US Army from 1966-69, he was an entrepreneur, sailor, equestrian, and farmer. Friend, mentor, and elder statesman; he spent his later years focused on supporting the recovery of others. He is survived by his loving wife Hannah, his children Hunter and Halia, his sisters Catherine and Patricia. In lieu of flowers, Tony wished for donations to be made to Priority House.

A memorial service for Kaleen Emlee Fahrner, 72 of Cookeville, will be at 12:00 PM on Friday, June 23, 2023 at Presley Funeral Home with the Eddy Turner officiating. She died on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at home surrounded by loved ones. Born Monday, June 5, 1950 in Bay City, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late William Ervin LeMere and the late Catherine Bowden LeMere. She was the wife of Ronald Fahrner. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday, June 23, 2023, at Presley Funeral Home.
