WCTE has decided to cancel its Stations of Imagination for the weekend of September 10th citing concerns with rising COVID numbers among Upper Cumberland children.
WCTE said it plans on exploring safe alternatives such as a virtual event with activities families can do at home, or it will provide pre-packed kits for pick up that families can take home.
According to state and local officials, the Upper Cumberland has seen a 26 percent increase in cases for children 18 and under.
This will be the second year in a row the event has been canceled.
