Warren Arts Presents “James and the Giant Peach”

Warren Arts Foundation is excited for audience members to come see their production of “James and the Giant Peach Jr.” a musical adaptation of the book by Roald Dahl.

Chairman Chad McGee said audience members can expect to be impressed by the costumes, set, singing and dancing in this fun and family-friendly show.

“It was put together expertly by a group of very young directors–actually all three were first time directors and a music director who this was his first time music directing as well,” McGee said. “They did a fantastic job putting together the story and it’s a great show–very entertaining.”

McGee said both Warren Arts and the kids in the cast benefit from audience attendance.

“Not only are you supporting the youth that are involved, but it supports us and helps us to have programs and shows as we also hope to grow into other areas of arts and support arts in the community,” McGee said.

McGee said he’s appreciative and proud of the production team’s work, and hopes people recognize their efforts.

“Community theatre in particular is always a group effort especially when no one is getting paid to be in charge and everybody has to chip in to get things done,” McGee said. “So I’m very proud always to see that happen in community theatre.”

Not only is it great to support the cast and crew, but by attending the show you’ll support McMinnville Special Games. For each ticket sold, Crisp Springs Market will donate one dollar to the organization that wants to enrich the lives of those with special needs.

“James and the Giant Peach Jr.” runs every week until May 16th. For tickets and information, visit Warren Arts’ website.
