Warren Airport Under Review By State Comptroller’s Office

The State Comptroller’s Office currently reviewing certain operations of the Warren County Memorial Airport.

Communications Director John Dunn said the office usually does not confirm investigations, but the release timing of a previous audit created a unique situation.

“We released Warren County’s annual audit back in February, and in the audit, we actually disclosed that we are currently having this review of the Warren County Memorial Airport,” Dunn said. “That’s why we are doing it this time confirming that involvement.”

Dunn provided no comment as to what exactly is being reviewed or when the investigation began. Dunn said any findings will be released in a report later on.
