Van Buren County Election Results: Hickey Re-Elected

Terry Hickey was re-elected as Van Buren’s third district County Commissioner.

Hickey beat out Robert Van Winkle 97-61. The battle for the third district was the only contested ballot in Van Buren.

Incumbent Darlene Hale will remain Assessor of Property unopposed with 690 votes.

The board of education will remain the same with incumbents Tim Hodges and Barry Austin. Hodges received 182 votes for the second district seat. Austin tallied 139 for the third district seat.

Judge Carma Dennis McGee will remain in his seat with 423 votes to retain and 197 to replace.
