Upperman Addition Building Pad Ready To Be Poured

Concrete set to be poured Monday for the Upperman High School addition project.

Architect Kim Chamberlin who is overseeing the work reported good progress to the Putnam County School Board. Chamberlin said the contractor has battled muddy conditions, but the building pad work will still move forward.

Chamberlin said due to the wet ground, the contractor had to double its digging for utility lines. Chamberlin said the back of the site for the new choir room and ROTC facility is out of the mud at this point.

Chamberlin said excavation for the front classrooms is set to begin shortly.
