Upper Cumberland Electric will resume service disconnections for those with a past-due balance June 15.
The utility suspended disconnections at the start of the COVID-19 crisis. UCEMC officials said payment plans can be worked out for those still dealing with the economic realities of the pandemic. Officials said customers with issues should contact UCEMC as soon as possible to explore possible solutions.
District offices in Carthage, Gainesboro and Livingston will reopen Monday with social distancing guidelines in effect. The Cookeville lobby remains closed because of tornado damage.
