Power Outages Reported Sunday Morning; Fentress Most

Wind gusts in excess of 40mph Sunday morning have produced power outages across the Upper Cumberland. UCEMC Customers Will Receive 1.6% Discount

UCEMC will give members a credit beginning next month to reduce monthly electric bills. The TVA Board approved the credit as part of a $200 million Pandemic Relief Credit plan. That reduces UCEMC’s wholesale power bill. UCEMC Resumes Disconnections June 15

Upper Cumberland Electric will resume service disconnections for those with a past-due balance June 15. The utility suspended disconnections at the start of the COVID-19 crisis. Livingston Saves Some 21K So Far On LED Lights

The City of Livingston’s light upgrade project has saved the city some $21,400 since December 2019. The city worked with UCEMC to convert most of its street lights to LED lights. Fentress Power Outages Down Under 1,000

More than a thousand Fentress County residents got power restored as daylight emerged following a long day Sunday of heavy rains and strong winds.
