UCDD Cares Act Money Available For Creating Business Websites

The Upper Cumberland Development District has COVID money available for businesses to bolster their websites for free.

Small Business Development Center Director Tyler Asher said the organization has enough funds to help any business in the Upper Cumberland.

“The business owners that have already taken advantage are extremely excited,” Asher said. “It has helped them save thousands of dollars, because a good eCommerce website is going to cost $3000-$5000. So people who are getting this. It has increased their sales. So for them, it is a win win situation.”

Asher said the process begins with an advising session to review the business’s goals. Asher said owners work hand and hand with a contractor to create a personalized product. Asher said clients can also take advantage of accounting and legal assistance.

“If you have been thinking about getting a website or maybe you want to redo your website, now would be the perfect time to reach out to the Small Business Development Center,” Asher said. “We have contractors that are standing by that are ready to go to work.”
