Two New Clay Co. Basketball Courts Nearing Completion

Clay County is finishing the final touches of a health grant funding two new basketball courts at Donaldson Park and Hermitage Springs.

Mayor Dale Reagan said the court for Celina’s park has been completed with concrete work ongoing at Hermitage Springs.

“Lord willing, we will get that wrapped up before the end of the month,” Reagan said. “That is our deadline, so we got to get that done. We certainly want to thank the department of health for the grant funding.”

Reagan said parts of $20,000 project has already been in use with many residents utilizing the Celina court.
