Cookeville Regional reported two deaths from COVID-19 since Thursday bringing the pandemic total to ten.
Public Relations Director Melahn Finley said both patients were elderly patients with underlying health issues.
A total of 25 patients are being treated at CRMC for COVID-19. Ten of those patients are in intensive care. Finley said 12 other patients have tests pending.
The State Health Department reported 23 new positive cases in Putnam County Thursday.
