Two Crossville Domestic Incidents Over Weekend

Two domestic assault cases in Crossville this weekend led to two arrests.

Police arrested Tony Dewayne Smith, age 35 of Rockwood, Sunday night after he allegedly hit his girlfriend with a phone or other object. When police responded they found the victim with blood on her face just above the ear.

Smith did not want to tell officers what has happened. He was charged with assault. Smith also had two outstanding warrants including one for domestic assault.

39-year-old Cory Bernard Robinson of Crossville faces assault charges after he allegedly threw something at his girlfriend striking her in the head. Police found the woman bleeding, walking along Neechum Street.

She said Robinson had thrown her and a child out of the residence. Police found a broken fan in the floor where the incident happened. The incident happened early Saturday morning.
