Tennessee Tech Athletic Director Mark Wilson has reason to celebrate.
Last week, the TTU Board of Trustees approved another five-year contract extension.
Wilson has served as Tech’s athletic director since 2004.
He said he takes pride in the athlete’s academic progress and made continuing that success part of his plan for the next five years.
“We’re going to stay true to who we are, we’re going to continue to focus on academic success, we’re trying to build a top-tier program in the Ohio Valley Conference, we’re proud of this year’s finish in the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner’s Cup,” Wilson said.
Through the year, Wilson is in charge of up to 325 athletes in 14 sports.
