Traffic Stop Leads to Meth Arrest in Crossville

A Crossville man faces meth and prohibited weapons charges following a traffic stop Tuesday.

Crossville Police reports officers stopped 47-year-old Christopher Noe after failing to properly use a turn signal.

Noe admitted to officers his license was suspended while the passenger of the vehicle said she was on probation while still being a user of methamphetamine.

The police report indicates the officer then searched Noe’s person based on the passenger’s statement. The search revealed a cigarette box containing nearly nine grams of meth, over $300 cash, and a set of brass knuckles.

A K-9 search of Noe’s vehicle also revealed digital scales with residue consistent with meth and plastic baggies.

Officers charged Noe for manufacturing, delivering, or selling meth, possession of a prohibited weapon, and driving on a revoked license.
