Big events mean Putnam County’s emergency services turn to planning, specifically traffic.
Putnam County Emergency Management Director Tyler Smith.
“People’s got to watch, particularly the ones that like to text and drive and that happens, I see it every day, but yeah, everyone’s just got to be aware of their surroundings, slow down and watch for these bikers,” Smith said.
The county’s emergency services met to continue planning for next month’s eclipse, and to review plans for the HOG Rally, officially opening Tuesday.
