TN Tech Students Possess Controlled Substance

Two students face charges after police located over one pound of marijuana at Tech Village Thursday.

James Paris, 22, and Dylan Johnson, 18, face charges of simple possession.

Authorities charged James Paris, 22, and Dylan Johnson, 18, with possession of a controlled substance.

According to arrest warrants, Tennessee Tech Police responded to the smell of Marijuana at Tech Village.

Upon search of the apartment, police located 4 gallon-sized baggies and 2 quart-sized baggies containing a leafy substance believed to be Marijuana.

Arrest warrants indicate the suspect marijuana weighed approximately 1 and 3/4 pounds.
