This week in the Upper Cumberland the Cookeville Planning Commission will consider action to add campgrounds within local commercial districts.
The item was tabled for further study last month. If approved, developments such as RV parks would be allowed.
The commission will also decide to further study the preliminary plat for the Putnam County Bus Garage and Road Maintenance Department. The county is requesting a road dedication to the city.

Tuesday, the Cookeville Regional Medical Center Financial Board will host a committee meeting. Members will review agenda items in preparation for its Thursday Board of Trustees meeting.
The Tuesday session starts at 4:30 p.m. The full board meets Thursday at 6:00 p.m.
Monterey’s Sewer and Water Committee will discuss a water line extension requested by a Nashville business. The erosion control and soil sediment company wants to build a new warehouse on Crossville Highway, but needs public water.
Members will also discuss potential projects for its Community Development Block Grant. The work session takes place at city hall at 1:00 p.m.
Later on Thursday, the Algood Planning Commission will consider additional regulations for accessory structures. Business begins at 6:00 p.m.
