Monterey Finance Committee Recommends Park Improvements Through ARP Funds

The Monterey Finance Committee has recommended the majority of the city’s remaining federal COVID money to be used for park improvements. Putnam County Budget Committee Chair Ben Rodgers asked members to consider a new proposal Monday that includes employee raises but also cuts new employee positions. Rodgers shared a $4 million plan.
