This Week White Co Solid Waste Committee Continues Work, Livingston Aldermen Hear PD Report

This week in the Upper Cumberland the White County Solid Waste Committee continues work on its landfill.

Members will discuss a resolution that would allow the county to accept out-of-county trash. A representative from a recycling company also set to make a presentation to the committee.

The county’s steering committees meet as well. Members will discuss an agricultural program using county owned property on Highway 70. Committee work begins at 5:30 p.m.

The Livingston Board of Aldermen will hear an update from MTAS regarding applications for the police chief position Monday. The application portal closed Friday. Aldermen will also hear from its contracted retail coach as the consultant tries to limit sales tax leakage.

The meeting starts at 6:00 p.m.

The Clay County Commission meets Monday at 6:30 p.m. The Monterey Board of Aldermen gathers at 7:00 p.m. Monday.

Tuesday, the Crossville City Council will work on a contract extension with Azure Flight Support. Discussion and action regarding a street light replacement on US Highway 127 North will be work shopped as well.

The work session starts at 5:00 p.m.

The Putnam County Regional Planning Commission will consider acting on a 21-lot subdivision Monday. It is located off of Hulon Ferrell Road in Bloomington Springs. Business begins at 6:00 p.m.

Thursday, the Baxter City Council will host a planning meeting at 5:00 p.m. A full meeting follows at 6:00 p.m. The Gainesboro Board of Aldermen gathers 7:00 p.m. Thursday.
