A Cookeville man faces 15 charges after a manhunt Tuesday that started with the suspect allegedly attempting to run over a Putnam County Deputy. Putnam Jail Lifts In-Person Visitation Suspension, Facility COVID Free

In-person visitations at the Putnam County Jail are set to resume Monday. Visitations were temporarily suspended for three weeks after a COVID spike among inmates. Putnam K-9 Unit Aids In Arrest Of Suspected Thief

The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office and Baxter Police caught a suspected side-by-side and truck thief Monday, aided by the K-9 unit.
