Putnam Rabies Clinic Begins Saturday

Get your pets vaccinated this weekend through Putnam County’s 2020 Rabies Clinics. Tennessee law requires all dogs and cats over six months of age to be vaccinated every year. Putnam County Health Department Environmental Health Specialist Tiffany Johnson said the yearly clinic usually lasts for two weeks. Adoptions & Surrenders Steady In Putnam

The Cookeville/Putnam County Animal Shelter says adoptions have been steady during COVID-19 even with limited access to the facility. “Intakes have not been as high as they normally would, and our overall shelter population is pretty comfortable,” Shelter Director Jennifer Hutchinson-Tracy.
