Millard Oakley Dead At Age Of 91

Longtime Upper Cumberland lawyer, business man and philanthropist Millard Oakley died Thursday morning. Oakley was 91. Local church members were asked to pray for Oakley Wednesday after he suffered a stroke. He passed away overnight according to sources. Millard Oakley Donation To Cumberland University To Be Largest In School History

Longtime Livingston resident Millard Oakley will make the largest donation ever to Cumberland University. The former law school graduate and state official will gift $5 million. Oakley, Stonecipher To Receive Honorary Degrees

Tennessee Tech will award honorary degrees to longtime Upper Cumberland resident Millard Oakley and former Boeing executive Harry Stonecipher.
